An aerialist who fell from a six-meter height at the Great Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Avenue is feeling well after his injury. This was reported on July 14 in the Telegram channel of the Moscow Department of Health.

"I am very glad to be here at [the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine]. There is a very good team of doctors here. I recovered from the injury very quickly. I am very grateful for that," he said.

According to the aerialist, he was training for competitions in the circus arena. After the incident, the athlete does not remember anything. However, the gymnast was told that after the incident, he was quickly treated and taken to a medical facility.

On July 13, a source from Izvestia reported that an aerialist had fallen from a six-meter height at the Bolshoi Moscow Circus. The victim was diagnosed with a brain contusion and a compression fracture of the spine.

As noted by the director of the circus and People's Artist of the Russian Federation Edgard Zapashny, the acrobat was injured due to an error by a specialist driver who secures the artists during the performance of the numbers. He missed the right moment and did not insure the athlete, which caused him to be injured.
