Special operation map on July 14th

A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The group of troops "Center" liberated the village of Mayak in the DPR. As a result of the group's actions, up to 360 militants, a US-made HMMWV armored fighting vehicle, a Cossack armored car and four artillery pieces were eliminated.

In addition, the Vostok group of troops liberated the village of Malinovka, Zaporizhia region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the group's area of responsibility amounted to 185 soldiers, four armored personnel carriers, 11 vehicles, two field artillery guns and a Verba multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) combat vehicle.

"The units of the Southern Group of Forces have improved their tactical situation. They defeated the manpower and equipment of four mechanized, airmobile, mountain assault, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard brigades in the areas of the settlements of Kleban-Byk, Pleshcheyevka, Zakotnoye, Slavyansk, Seversk, Krivaya Luka, Svyato-Pokrovskoye, Konstantinovka, Serebryanka and Dronovka of the Donetsk People's Republic," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

At the same time, aviation, attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit an ammunition manufacturing plant, recruitment centers, infrastructure of military airfields, storage sites for UAVs and anti-ship missiles, ammunition and fuel depots, as well as temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in 140 areas.

The Air Defense forces, in turn, shot down three guided aerial bombs and 120 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 69,490 UAVs, 616 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,212 tanks and other armored personnel carriers, 1,577 MLRS combat vehicles, 27,356 field artillery and mortars, as well as 38,143 units of special military vehicles.
