From August 13 to 15, 2025, the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum will be held on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in the Kyrgyz Republic. The event is organized by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RCDF) with the support of the Roscongress Foundation under the international brand Roscongress International.
The forum will become a central platform for discussing priority areas of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation. The business program focuses on digitalization, finance, logistics and infrastructure, tourism and other strategic sectors.
"The Roscongress Foundation attaches great importance to strengthening ties with the Kyrgyz Republic, creating platforms for open dialogue, sharing experiences and forming long-term partnerships. Today, the focus is on developing joint projects in the fields of renewable energy, digital technologies, and tourism," said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Management Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation.
One of the key events of the event will be the visiting session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Alexey Valkov, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the SPIEF, will present global economic trends, summarize the results of SPIEF 2025, announce key initiatives of the Roscongress ecosystem and discuss new formats of interaction with Kyrgyz partners.
According to Artyom Novikov, Chairman of the Board of the RCFR, the Roscongress Foundation's participation in the Forum opens up new business opportunities: "For the Kyrgyz economy and local entrepreneurs, this is a unique chance to gain access to the analysis and conclusions of one of the world's leading economic forums without leaving the country. This partnership not only enhances the status of the event, but also provides a real impetus for the integration of Kyrgyz businesses into the Eurasian and global economic space."
Cooperation between the authorities of the two countries and representatives of large businesses contributes to the implementation of joint initiatives and the strengthening of ties in the Eurasian region.
Among the Russian participants of the VI Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum in 2024 are Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kurochkin, member of the Board of Directors of the New BRICS Development Bank Timur Maksimov, the management of companies such as Gazprombank JSC, NovaVind JSC", Eurasian Development Bank.
