Citizens of Ukraine who were not allowed to enter Russia while being checked at Sheremetyevo Airport may be barred from entering the country for up to 50 years. This follows from the court materials, excerpts from which are quoted by TASS on July 14.

It is clarified that Ukrainians are usually not allowed to enter Russia because of their support for the Kiev regime, their negative attitude towards the special military operation, as well as their ties to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and the Ukrainian special services.

If one of the above points was found during the verification, then such people are notified of their non-admission to the country and returned back to the country from which they arrived at Sheremetyevo. Further, in such cases, they are prohibited from entering the Russian Federation. According to the documents reviewed by TASS, such a ban can range from 20 to 50 years.

"After carrying out filtration and verification measures, a Ukrainian citizen was not allowed to cross the state border of the Russian Federation. <...> Subsequently, a decision was made against her not allowing her to enter the Russian Federation until July 12, 2074," the agency quotes the document.

On May 25, singer Nargiz Zakirova was banned from entering Russia for 50 years — until 2072 — because of her posts on social networks discrediting the actions of the Russian military as part of a special operation to protect Donbass.
