US President Donald Trump has changed after an assassination attempt on him during an election rally in Pennsylvania in 2024. This was reported by the Associated Press, citing sources, on Saturday, July 12.

"He didn't become a Zen Buddhist. But I think he's become more grateful. He became more attentive to his friends," the agency's source said.

According to Trump's friends, he has become more alert on stage. At the same time, the US president, as the agency reported, is now deeply convinced that since he survived the assassination attempt, it means that God saved him for the sake of the country's future.

It was noted that Trump reacted outside the box to the traumatic event. Usually people try to avoid memories, not to encounter things that remind them of what happened. The American president, on the other hand, surrounded himself with such objects.

"He decorated the White House and his golf clubs with artworks depicting the moment after the shooting, when he stood up, theatrically raised his fist in the air and chanted: "Fight, fight, fight!" the publication says.

However, Trump noted that at times he experienced the effects of the attack in the form of throbbing pain in his ear, which was injured as a result of the shooting.

In 2024, Trump survived two assassination attempts. The first occurred on July 13 at an election rally in Pennsylvania. The politician was wounded in the ear at a tangent. The second attempt was made on September 15: there was a shooting at a golf club in West Palm Beach. Trump was 500 m away from the scene. The perpetrators were detained in both cases.
