The memorandum between Russia and the United Nations on the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers will not be extended after July 22, 2025. This was stated to journalists in Geneva by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin.

"This document was signed three years ago as part of a larger agreement that includes issues of navigation in the Black Sea, and its term ends at the end of July. The memorandum was concluded without providing for its extension. We haven't even talked about an extension now," he said.

As Vershinin noted, during the final round of consultations in Geneva on July 11, the parties discussed what had been done and what had not been done, and how to continue working on these pressing tasks and issues.
