A man died in a fire due to smoking in Nizhneudinsk
In Nizhneudinsk (Irkutsk region), a man died as a result of a fire caused by carelessness while smoking. This is reported by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The fire occurred on Friday morning, July 11, on Zheleznodorozhnaya Street. A log house with two apartments caught fire.
"A 58-year-old man was found dead by a member of the gas and smoke protection service during the extinguishing. His spouse was rescued from the house," the message says.
The fire area was 10 square meters. m, says IA IrkutskMedia. 11 people and three pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
On July 8, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Yasenevo, Nizhny Novgorod region. As a result, a man born in 1996 and a child born in 2018 died.
