In the village of Prigorodnoye, Belogorsky district, a 75-year-old man was killed in an explosion of a domestic water heater. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). This was reported on July 11 in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Amur region.

"Upon the death of a 75-year—old man in a residential apartment building in the village of Prigorodnoye, Belogorsk municipal District, the investigative department for the city of Belogorsk <...> has opened a criminal case," the report says.

It is specified that as a result of the explosion in an apartment building, a 75-year-old man was injured. He died in a medical facility./

Investigative measures are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on July 7, an explosion was reported in a bar on Sobornaya Street in Ryazan. One person was killed and four others were injured in the incident. There was no fire as a result of the incident. The accused was arrested for two months.
