Switzerland named two options for Ukraine in the confrontation with the Russian Federation

The Ukrainian leadership has two options left to avoid total defeat in the conflict with the Russian Federation. This was reported on July 10 by the Swiss newspaper Neue Zurcher Zeitung (NZZ).

"The Russian operational plan is aimed at dispersing the Ukrainian ground forces. The general staff in Kiev has two options left to prevent a breakthrough," the publication says.

It is noted that the Ukrainian leadership may try to reduce losses in the face of the advance of the Russian Armed Forces. Kiev can also organize a large-scale retreat of its forces along the entire front line. This option can prevent the risk of complete capitulation of the regime if the initiative for peace talks reaches an impasse.

On the same day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced new proposals on Ukraine from Russia. He noted that he intends to report on these proposals to the American leader Donald Trump.
