The expert predicted a favorable dynamics of the bitcoin price
Bitcoin continues to show steady growth, approaching historical highs. Since the beginning of the year, the cryptocurrency has shown a yield of about 20%, and the positive dynamics may continue, Ilya Sivoplyas, head of the WhiteBird crypto trading department, told Izvestia on July 10.
"The growth of bitcoin was caused by the cycle of global liquidity expansion, as well as the actions of the US administration aimed at maintaining the risk-on regime in the markets. After the April volatility related to trade duties, there were signals of easing, including tax breaks and incentives under the "big beautiful law" bill. This allowed bitcoin to strengthen at the current levels of about $111,000," he said.
According to him, the medium-term prospects (until mid-2026) look optimistic. The liquidity growth cycle is likely to last at least until 2026.
"In the fall, the name of the new head of the Federal Reserve will be announced, which may lead to a large-scale rate cut in the second half of 2026. In such conditions, we maintain the target range for bitcoin at $ 130-150 thousand," the expert noted.
According to the expert, there are certain risks in the next 1-3 months. Overheating in the American stock market, especially in the technology segment, may lead to a correction, and bitcoin, which has a close relationship with technology stocks, may also fall. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the tariff negotiations: the August 1 deadline may increase volatility in the markets.
On May 22, Capital Lab partner Evgeny Shatov explained to Izvestia what influenced the growth of the BTC exchange rate. He clarified that the bitcoin exchange rate has set a record, exceeding $ 111 thousand. According to him, the growth of cryptocurrencies is due, among other things, to the fact that the promotion of legislation on stablecoins in the United States has given investors hope that regulation will be clarified under US President Donald Trump.
