With the start of the election campaign in Moldova, the opposition faces obstacles and is deprived of the opportunity to speak with voters. The leader of the Great Moldova party, Victoria Furtune, told Izvestia about this on July 10.

"This is not a campaign, this is a fight for the survival of the nation. The government in Moldova is trying to turn the elections into a farce under European umbrellas, where the opposition, I tell you, rostrums, TV channels, money, and even the right to speak are being taken away from the opposition. And all this is under the slogan of democracy," she said.

According to her, the feature of the election campaign that has begun is "total control, censorship," as well as the ruling party's fear of a possible loss of its positions.

"We expect everything from this government, discrediting, falsification, new criminal cases, even attempts to exclude undesirable people from the race through sanctions, mediatization, courts and intimidation," Fortune said.

At the same time, the politician expressed confidence that if the citizens of the country participate in the elections freely, the Action and Solidarity Party (PACE) "will no longer return to parliament or to history."

"The Moldova Mare party has united with the people who support us, and we will be in parliament, and we will represent the interests of Moldova, our people, our land, and, of course, with the help of our God," the oppositionist emphasized.

Being clarified. that the party is going to the elections with a program to restore industry and support the broadest strata of society — "families, youth and the elderly." The politician also pointed out the desire to see Moldova as a strong sovereign country "without colonial contracts and without fear of Washington and Brussels."

"Foreign policy should be pragmatic, not colonial. The urgent thing we need to do is to stop the unilateral orientation only towards the West," the politician said.

On July 6, it became known that the Pobeda opposition bloc intends to apply for participation in the parliamentary elections in Moldova, which will be held in September. The list of the bloc at the electoral event will be headed by Evgenia Gutsul.
