Zenit St. Petersburg football club defeated the Swiss team Sion in a friendly match on Wednesday, July 9.

The match was held in St. Petersburg and ended with a score of 5:2. Maxim Glushenkov, Mateo Cassiera, Vadim Shilov, Alexander Erokhin and Sergey Volkov scored goals for Zenit. Ilyas Shuaref and Anton Miranchuk scored for the Swiss football club.

According to Sport-Express, Zenit will face the Serbian team Vojvodina on July 13. The match starts at 19:30 Moscow time.
