On July 9, the Ministry of Transport confirmed its intention to reopen Gelendzhik Airport.

"It is planned to open the airport for domestic flights in the near future. Tickets will be available after the release of the notice," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

Earlier that day, a source from Izvestia reported that flights could begin on July 18.
