The State Duma (DG) has approved in the first reading a bill on the platform economy. Information about this is indicated on July 9, according to the database of bills of the State Duma.

It is reported that the law will regulate relations between operators of intermediary digital platforms, their partners and users. He introduces the concept of a "platform economy", which is a set of property relations through digital platforms for entrepreneurship.

In addition, the concept of a "digital platform" is introduced — an information system, an Internet site, programs for electronic computing machines (computers) that provide information exchange and dissemination, as well as participate in the sale of goods, the performance of work and the provision of services. There is also a new concept of "intermediary digital platforms" (DTS), which will provide the operator, partners and users with the opportunity to work on concluding transactions and placing product cards. A special registry will be created for the PCP.

It is noted that the bill establishes requirements for the placement of product cards. Product cards without safety confirmation (labeling, certification, or declaration of conformity) will not be published.
