The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the destruction of an APU tank using drones

The operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) disguised in a forest belt. Footage of Russian military personnel working on the target was shown by the Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday, July 9.

Russian intelligence officers discovered a camouflaged car near the village of Kamyshevakha in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The coordinates of the target's location were transmitted to the drone operators, after which the UAV hit exactly the turret of the enemy tank. As a result, the warhead of the vehicle exploded, and the ammunition detonated. The APU tank was successfully eliminated.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Senior Sergeant Roman Eremin was conducting aerial reconnaissance when he discovered a camouflaged cluster of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment. He transmitted the coordinates to the command, and soon the enemy's equipment was destroyed by artillery fire from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
