One person was killed and three injured in an accident in the Khabarovsk Territory.

On July 8, an accident occurred near the village of Rakitnoye in the Khabarovsk region, as a result of which one person was killed and three injured. This was announced on July 9 by the Khabarovsk Territory State Traffic Inspectorate in its Telegram channel.

"The driver of the Toyota Prius, a man born in 1984, lost control while overtaking a passing Shacman heavy truck and drove off the roadway into the right ditch," the report said.

As a result of the accident, one of the passengers died, three were hospitalized with multiple fractures.

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established. A biomaterial was taken from the driver of the car to determine the state of intoxication.
