Russian intelligence officers have been operating behind enemy lines for almost two months. This was told to Izvestia by the commander of the reconnaissance department of one of the motorized rifle divisions of the Dnepr group of forces, Renat with the call sign Ronin.

According to the serviceman, for two months the reconnaissance group secretly collected information and destroyed the enemy in the village of Belogorye, Zaporizhia region.

"We secretly entered the village, which at that time was controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Armed Forces of Ukraine. — Ed.). Our task was to gain a foothold and conduct reconnaissance of the enemy's forces and military assets. Find out the number of personnel in the area. If possible, destroy their sabotage and reconnaissance groups," Ronin said.

In total, the reconnaissance group stayed in the village for 1 month and 24 days. Our scouts were hiding 50 meters from the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy guessed that Russian intelligence was operating somewhere nearby.

"They were looking for us everywhere, but not around themselves," Ronin said.

At night, the scouts would come out of their hiding place, do their combat work, and come back. They had to fight their way out of the village, under drone strikes. Despite their injuries, the scouts were able to reach their own, having completed an important task.
