- For six months, the Moscow Museum Week brought together more than 570 thousand people.
Over the past six months, more than 570,000 people have visited the capital's exhibition spaces for free as part of the Moscow Museum Week campaign. This was announced by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
The most popular venues were the Kuskovo Estate, the Tsaritsyno and Kolomenskoye nature reserves, the Pushkin State Museum and the Museum of Moscow. "The number of participants in the campaign has increased by 45% compared to the same period last year. Muscovites and tourists visited exhibitions on various topics, from history to art and natural sciences," Sergunina said.
The next museum week will be held from July 14th to 20th.
In particular, the Battle of Borodino Panorama Museum has prepared an exhibition that introduces guests to the Battle of Waterloo. Among the exhibits are graphic works, portraits of military leaders and samples of cold weapons of that time.
