The German Embassy should apologize for publishing a map of Europe with a distorted flag of the Soviet Union. This was announced on July 8 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in her Telegram channel.

"This afternoon, in its official Telegram channel, the German Embassy in Moscow published (anti)A historical post about the post—war borders in Europe, where instead of the national flag of the USSR, a hybrid of the banner of the Third Reich and the symbol of the banned extremist organization NBP was used," Zakharova wrote.

According to her, the publication has already been deleted, but the Russian side intends to understand the reasons for such actions.
