France criticized Barro for demanding to resolve the conflict in Ukraine

France demands peace in Ukraine from the Russian Federation, but at the same time continues to supply Kiev with weapons. This was announced on July 8 by French politician and leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot.

"You want a 'cease-fire' while continuing to supply more and more weapons to Ukraine week after week. Are you by any chance mocking the world?!" he noted on the social network X (ex. Twitter) in response to the demand of the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Jean-Noel Barrault to the Russian Federation for a cease-fire in Ukraine.

According to him, the French authorities have long wanted not peace, but a full-fledged war.

The republic will appeal to the European Parliament to preserve fuel imports from the Russian Federation, and in the meantime, a delegation from Brussels is going to Bratislava for negotiations.

Earlier in the day, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barraud announced a new package of anti-Russian sanctions on the LCI TV channel. According to him, it may become the toughest in three years.
