Russian electric car Atom will receive a version for civil servants

The Russian Atom electric car will receive a special package designed for civil servants. It will have a different interior and will be offered in two body colors to choose from — black and white. Oleg Vakhromeev, Atom's Chief Operating Officer for Marketing, told RIA Novosti on July 8.

According to a company representative, in this version of the electric car, as in the taxi modification, there will be a choice of configuration without a front passenger seat with additional legroom or luggage.

Vakhromeev pointed out that Atom will meet the standards of the law on taxi localization, and the company intends to ensure that the model is presented in the comfort and comfort-plus classes. He confirmed that mass production of the electric car is planned for the second half of 2025.

In addition, in a conversation with TASS, Vakhromeev said that in the future it will be possible to assemble crossovers and minivans, as well as models with all-wheel drive, on the Atom platform. The degree of localization of the electric vehicle at the start of production will be 60%, and in the future it is planned to increase this figure to 70%.
