The doctor called the symptoms of sunstroke
Heat can cause heat or sunstroke. General practitioner Nadezhda Chernyshova told on Tuesday, July 8, what symptoms accompany this condition.
She explained that thermal and solar are similar in nature.
"Heat stroke can develop in a room with a high temperature. In case of sunstroke, in addition to high temperature, ultraviolet radiation from the sun is affected," the expert clarified in an interview with aif.ru .
The doctor explained that sunstroke develops with prolonged exposure to the sun and can lead to serious disorders of the central nervous system (CNS), heart, kidneys, and even death.
"It tends to unfold gradually, but quickly enough it goes into severe stages, when it is already more difficult to provide help, and the consequences can be very serious. Sunstroke manifests itself as a deterioration in well-being. Most often there is weakness, often dizziness, may be lethargy, drowsiness, or vice versa, irritability, agitation even to convulsions, to delusions and hallucinations," she explained.
The next stage is depressed consciousness, fainting, and even coma. In turn, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that a period of tropically warm nights awaits Moscow.
"According to our forecasts, the next few nights in Moscow will be even warmer. At least until the end of this week, the capital will have a period of tropical nights — the night air temperature will range from 19 to 24 degrees Celsius," the Moscow City News agency quoted the forecaster as saying.
Leus recalled that tropical nights are nights when the air temperature does not fall below a certain mark: at the latitude of Moscow it is +20 degrees, RT reports. In such a situation, the body does not have time to rest at night from the heat stress received during the day, and instead of restoring its strength, it continues to struggle with the temperature load, so tropical nights entail much more negative consequences than daytime heat, writes Moscow 24.
According to him, the water in the reservoirs will actively warm up in the second half of the week, reports NSN.
Earlier, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that the hottest days are expected in Moscow in the second half of this week. According to the forecaster, it could be +35 degrees in the city center from Wednesday to Friday.
A day earlier, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, warned that a 30-degree heat wave was coming to the capital, and the temperature would break records from 29 years ago. 360.ru .
