A criminal case has been opened into the mass poisoning of residents of the Magaramkentsky district of Dagestan. This was reported on July 8 in the press service of the Republican Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

Earlier that day, it was reported that Rospotrebnadzor employees had launched an epidemiological investigation due to a massive intestinal infection in five villages of the Magaramkentsky district of Dagestan. According to preliminary data, it is associated with water pollution.
