Six WWII-era munitions found in Pskov region

Six mortar shells were found in the Pustoshkinsky district of the Pskov region. This is reported by the Pskov news feed with reference to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Ammunition from the Great Patriotic War was discovered in a wooded area near the village of Shilovo. They are identified as 120 mm mortar shells.

Rescuers remind that when objects similar to ammunition are found, they should not be touched or moved. Please call 101, 102 or 112.

In the Baltic Sea in May, more than 9,5 thousand munitions from the Great Patriotic War were raised from the bottom. Divers were conducting an inspection of a German barge that was sunk in 1945.
