Security measures will be strengthened in the Leningrad Region due to the threat of drone strikes. The regional administration announced this on July 7.

It is specified that a danger signal will be introduced in the territory of the region in case of a threat via SMS notification. In addition, it is possible to lower the communication level from 4G to 2G in an area where drones can fly over.

In addition, it is planned to inspect vehicles entering courtyards and parking lots near government agencies, offices and government buildings in the region.

"The governor [Alexander Drozdenko] instructed to ensure that vehicles with mobile electronic warfare systems are on duty near the venues of mass events held by the region," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.

On June 27, temporary restrictions on the operation of the mobile Internet were introduced in the Samara region. This was necessary to ensure the safety of the residents and infrastructure of the region.
