Lavrov said Russia has no plans to attack Europe
Russia has no plans to attack Europe, despite accusations from Western countries. This was announced on July 7 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Magyar Nemzet newspaper.
According to him, the Russian side hears accusations from Western intelligence services about the alleged threat from Russia.
"Perhaps those who make these statements know more about Russia's plans than we do. At least we don't know anything about our plans to "attack Europe," let alone "occupy" Europe," Lavrov said.
On July 1, the Russian Embassy in London reported that the statements of the British authorities about the alleged hostility of the Russian Federation's intentions were false and had no basis in fact. They added that British politicians are consolidating at the doctrinal level false information about allegedly possible threats to the security of the United Kingdom from the Russian Federation.
