Shor called Sandu the manager of the West hired to destroy Moldova.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu is a Western manager hired to destroy the country. This was stated on July 6 by Ilan Shor, leader of the Pobeda opposition bloc, at the unification congress in Moscow.

"The entire political class of Moldova has proved its total impotence. They simply plundered this people, they bankrupted the country, and the shaky, fragile independence that they were given was simply smashed on the asphalt. <...> All the years this country was being killed, and Maya Sandu finished it off," he said.

According to the politician, the ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) has turned Moldova into a "testing ground for the West."

"It's no secret that Maya Sandu is a Western mercenary. It's just a hired manager who is being paid a salary to destroy Moldova, to control Moldova," Shor stressed.

He also drew attention to the elimination of electoral democracy, noting the constant searches and criminal prosecutions of the opposition. There are more cases against the Pobeda bloc in Moldova than there are cases across the country, Shor concluded.

In turn, the head of the Pobeda National Committee, Alexei Petrovich, called the Moldovan authorities' goal to deprive Gagauzia of the right to vote and force it to "thoughtlessly step towards the edge of the abyss called "European integration."
