In Russia, for the first time, GOST was introduced for sewing school uniforms

For the first time in Russia, GOST was introduced, which comes into force on July 1, for sewing school uniforms.

According to the document describing the new standards, uniforms for schoolchildren should be designed in a business style, and the cut should be used so that it is comfortable to stay in a sitting position for a long time in clothes. This was reported on June 29 by the RIA Novosti news agency, which reviewed the document.

The standard assumes clothes that are "aesthetic" and secular, and they should not contain any prohibited symbols. But it is recommended to use state and patriotic stripes.

Earlier, on February 14, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed amendments to the law "On Standardization in the Russian Federation", obliging the industry to comply with GOST standards, which are voluntary in Russia.
