The leaked US intelligence report on minor damage to Iran's nuclear program has become a factor overshadowing US President Donald Trump's triumph at the NATO summit in The Hague. This was reported on June 24 by The New York Times (NYT), citing sources.

"When President Trump landed in the Netherlands on Tuesday for the annual meeting of NATO allies, he desperately tried to preserve the fragile truce between Israel and Iran, <...> so that history would remember him for bombing Iran's nuclear facilities. <...> But just a few hours after landing, a leaked new American intelligence report called into question his repeated statements," the newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the preliminary conclusions of the report on Iran's nuclear program are of great strength, since the Pentagon was the author of the assessment.

Earlier in the day, the NYT reported that most of the uranium reserves were moved by Iran before the strikes and stored in secret nuclear facilities. Based on the material of the report, Trump's statements about the destruction of Iran's nuclear facilities were exaggerated.

Later, Trump accused the American channel CNN and NYT of trying to discredit the US strikes on Iran and publishing false information.
