Air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian drones over Russian territory

The Air Defense Forces shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over two regions of Russia. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 23.

"Three Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty: one over the Moscow region and two over the territory of the Kursk region," the report says.

It is specified that all drones were shot down between 18:50 and 21:00 Moscow time.

To do this, the drones had to break through the electronic jamming zones.

On the same day, it was reported that 23 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed overnight over the Russian regions. It was clarified that the air defense forces neutralized the drones over the Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions.
