Ryabkov pointed to a set of unresolved issues between Russia and the United States.
The relative normalization of the dialogue between Russia and the United States does not solve a whole range of unresolved problems, and there are still more and more of them. This was stated on June 23 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov at the session of the XI International Scientific and Expert Forum "Primakov Readings".
"The relative normalization of the situation in the dialogue, which has been observed recently between Washington and Beijing, and to some extent between Moscow and Washington, does not remove a whole range of unresolved problems. As far as we can tell, they are multiplying," he said.
According to him, the dialogue is also taking place against the background of conflicts, which are becoming more numerous, as well as tariff wars. Ryabkov believes that much will depend on which path the United States chooses in relations with Russia and China.
The diplomat also noted that the relations of this "triangle" will have an important role in shaping the new world order.
Earlier, on June 9, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that relations between Russia and the United States are in a better position than they were under the administration of former United States President Joe Biden. He also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart have developed a working relationship.
