Doctors managed to stabilize the condition of Oleg Zubkov, director of the Taigan Lviv Park. This was reported on June 22 by Izvestia.

"The operation continues at the central district hospital. According to the latest information, doctors have managed to stabilize Oleg Zubkov's condition. No one is allowed in the hospital except relatives," Oleg Zaikovsky, a correspondent for Izvestia, described the situation.

Police officers and the investigative committee are currently stationed in the Taigan Lviv Park, and it is also reported that new groups are being pulled up.

"The Taigan Lions Park is relatively quiet near the Lions Park. The entrance to the territory is closed for journalists," said Anastasia Kharchenko, a correspondent for Izvestia.

Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea, reported on June 22 that while feeding predators, a lion attacked Zubkov and inflicted multiple injuries on him. The director of the park managed to get out of the cage, after which he lost consciousness. He was taken to the hospital, at that time Zubkov's condition was considered serious. According to the director of the Mariupol park, Savely Vashura, the victim communicated with predators as with children.

Later, Elena Romanova, an eyewitness to the attack, told Izvestia that she could not catch the moment of the attack, but when Zubkov was loaded into an ambulance, he, according to her, was in a very serious condition: his head, face, body, and hands were all covered in blood.
