The Kremlin has declared the strategic advantage of the Russian Federation over Ukraine

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia was not going to lose its strategic advantage over Ukraine by agreeing to a temporary ceasefire. He stated this in an interview with Sky News on June 20.

"Now we have a strategic advantage. <...> We will not lose it. We're moving on. We are advancing and we will continue to advance," Peskov said.

The Kremlin's official representative noted that Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it is ready for a cease-fire only on condition that Kiev refuses to receive foreign military support. Peskov assured that Russia would not use a possible pause in hostilities to its advantage.
