As a result of Israeli strikes on Iran, a nuclear reactor and nearby territories of the complex were damaged in Arak. This was reported on June 19 by the BBC Russian Service, citing satellite images from Maxar Technologies.

"Satellite images show that the Iranian reactor in Arak is indeed damaged. <...> The first was taken on June 18, the second on the 19th. A comparison of them shows that the dome of the reactor was damaged, a hole is visible in the upper part of the structure," the Telegram channel said.

The pictures also show that as a result of the attack, two towers were partially damaged, and two buildings next to them were almost destroyed. It is specified that the Israeli and Iranian sides confirmed the fact of an attack on the Arak reactor.

Avihai Adrai, an official representative of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), said at a briefing on June 19 that the Israeli side had attacked Iranian nuclear facilities in Bushehr, Isfahan and Natanz. He noted that 40 fighter jets of the country's Air Force attacked dozens of military targets near Tehran and other areas of Iran.
