Striker Radulov has extended his contract with HC Lokomotiv
Yaroslavl Hockey club (HC) Lokomotiv announced the extension of the contract with striker Alexander Radulov. Information about this was published on the official website of the team on June 19.
"HC Lokomotiv has signed a new one—year contract with striker Alexander Radulov," the statement said.
It is reported that Radulov played in 81 meetings last season, where he scored 50 points.
The player has been playing for Lokomotiv since July 2024. Radulov was named the most valuable player of the playoffs last season, Sport-Express adds.
HC Lokomotiv defeated Chelyabinsk Traktor on May 29 in the fifth match of the KHL final playoff series and won the Gagarin Cup for the first time in history. As a result of the match, the score in the series became 4:1 in favor of Lokomotiv. Last season, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl had to lose to Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the final of the tournament.
