The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Florida Panthers in the fourth match of the Stanley Cup final playoff series, with Russian forward Vasily Podkolzin scoring one of the goals for the Neftyanikov. The match took place on June 13 and ended with a score of 5:4.

The Canadian club, losing the match with a score of 0:3, managed to even the score and win in overtime. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Darnell Ners, Vasily Podkolzin, Jake Walman and Leon Draisaitl scored for the winners. The Russian also scored an assist.

Russian goalkeeper of "Florida" Sergey Bobrovsky deflected 30 shots out of 35. He played the 115th game of his career in the NHL playoffs.
