Applications for the children's competition "About my district" have been accepted in the capital

Applications for the fourth season of the children's creative contest "About my District" have been accepted in the capital. Children and teenagers from four to 17 years old can take part in it, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"The children are invited to share stories about loved ones, come up with walking routes around the city, make videos about their pets, draw sights and favorite places," Sergunina said.

Among the main nominations is "My Family". The contestants are expected to take photos and tell stories about their relatives, who serve as an example for them. In the second category — "My yard" — drawings of buildings, streets, playgrounds and other favorite places in the city are accepted. As part of the third one, "My Neighborhood," it is proposed to develop a guided tour of the area with a route map. In the fourth one — "My pet" — you need to make a video about a pet.

This season's special nomination is "The Strong, Brave White Bear." Those who wish can draw a polar bear named Terpey from the Moscow Zoo with pencils or paints. He has been under the care of the My District program since 2025.

Registration of participants is open until July 31. The applications will be evaluated by representatives of creative professions, famous artists and leaders of creative industries. The winners and prize-winners will be selected in four age groups. All of them will receive memorable gifts. The winners will be announced in September.

The competition is held within the framework of the My District program. Last year, 48 laureates received awards, and 44 more participants were awarded special prizes.

The Moscow Mayor's "My District" program involves creating comfortable living conditions in all areas — from comfortable courtyards and parks to modern infrastructure facilities near the house.
