A suspect in the murder of her five-year-old daughter was detained in Voskresensk, Moscow region.

A local woman suspected of murdering her young daughter was detained in Voskresensk, Moscow region. This was announced on June 9 by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region.

It is specified that on June 8, the body of a five-year-old girl with signs of violent death was found in an apartment on Rabochaya Street in Voskresensk. A criminal case was opened into the murder (paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

It is assumed that the child's mother committed a crime and reported it to the police. The woman was taken to the investigation department, and specialists are currently working with her. Examinations have been appointed to clarify the motives and circumstances of the case.

On May 17, the body of a seven-year-old girl with signs of violent death was found near a forest belt in Berdyansk. Two days later, law enforcement officers detained a 14-year-old local woman on suspicion of murdering a child. In addition, during the interrogation, the attacker told about several more victims. The accused of the murder was detained for two months.
