Such projects make it possible to achieve noticeable positive changes in the life of the country, from the economy to the social sphere. At the same time, some indicators planned only for 2030 have already been achieved in the first quarter of 2025. Thus, Russia has firmly become one of the countries with the most effective system for protecting the health of newborns — infant mortality has decreased to a new historical minimum, the president noted. Another example: the proportion of families who receive child support measures and do not have to submit any applications or appeals has already come close to 100%.

The standard of living is really improving. There is a need to improve planning in the national project on transport mobility, the president gave an example. Despite the fact that work on it has been underway for several months, the government is already proposing to review its financing by reducing costs this year, he noted. In general, the work is certainly progressing. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that, on behalf of the President, since the beginning of this year, the government has already begun the practical implementation of 19 national projects. The cash execution of the budget of national projects is ahead of schedule, the amount of allocated funds is 39% of the annual volume. Over 53 trillion rubles have been allocated for their implementation over the next six years, including 40 trillion rubles from the federal budget and extra-budgetary sources.

How does the Russian Federation plan to ensure technological sovereignty

The President asked the government to keep under personal control the introduction of new technologies in its areas of responsibility.

— New technological solutions cannot be cooked, as they say, on the table. We also know this well and have talked about it many times. They should be widely used and replicated in all areas. The main thing is that their use leads to an increase in the competitiveness of Russian goods and services and the domestic economy as a whole. This issue is relevant for the development of unmanned aircraft systems, the president noted. In recent years, Russian engineers and designers have made significant progress: The interest in Russian-made combat and civilian drones is huge in the world, Vladimir Putin added. Foreign leaders who visited Russia during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory recently got acquainted with the prototypes and serial samples of the UAV.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev, the production of civilian drones this year exceeded 3.2 thousand. However, relevant departments are too slow to create a regulatory framework regarding the use of drones, the head of state pointed out.

"I understand that everything is not easy to do now, especially in conditions of self—defense, and when the enemy is sending hundreds of drones to us," Vladimir Putin said.

A significant part of the discussion was devoted to the core "space" national project. The President noted that Russia will have to strengthen its position in the rocket and space industry, and therefore it is necessary to form bold and long-term plans for the development of the domestic rocket industry and set the horizon for integrated development. The Prime Minister added that the revision of the national project has been completed: about 4.4 trillion rubles will be allocated for it until 2036, including 1.7 trillion rubles over the next six years.

Separately, Vladimir Putin instructed First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov to ensure that the sale of satellite images by Roscosmos worked properly and all departments invested the necessary funds in the budget. According to Manturov, the necessary regulations have been adopted, and all departments have been tasked with providing funds to pay for the images when planning the budget for the next year.

— Starting next autumn, we will launch a full-fledged market model for providing remote sensing data. This will provide Roscosmos with a new and permanent source of income," Denis Manturov said.

Recall that on December 28, 2024, Roscosmos and the Sputnix Group of companies signed Russia's first forward contract for the purchase of Earth remote sensing data. This is one of the steps to attract extra-budgetary financing to the industry.
