Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has invited creative teams from the CIS countries to join the international music competition Intervision, which will be held in Moscow this fall. He stated this on June 5 during a meeting of the CIS heads of government in Dushanbe.

"Creative collectives of the CIS countries are invited to take part in the international music competition "Intervision" in Moscow in the autumn. This is a good opportunity to demonstrate the unique traditions and modern achievements of the national cultures of our peoples," he said.

According to Mishustin, this event will also be one of the important platforms for the development of humanitarian cooperation, including the CIS.

In addition, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation invited the premiers of the CIS countries to come to the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg in July.

Earlier, on May 19, it was reported that Russia would be represented at the Intervision contest by the country's Honored Artist, author and performer SHAMAN (real name Yaroslav Dronov). The musician, commenting on his participation, told Izvestia: "I serve Russia!"
