Macron sculpture stolen from wax museum in Paris
Greenpeace activists have stolen a sculpture of French President Emmanuel Macron from the Grevin Wax Museum in Paris. This was reported on June 2 by BFM TV, citing sources.
"The wax statue of Emmanuel Macron was stolen from the Greven Museum on Monday morning by several people calling themselves Greenpeace activists," the article says.
According to the TV channel, two women and two men, posing as tourists, entered the museum under the guise of employees and stole a statue worth 40 thousand euros and took it out through the emergency entrance.
It is reported that after the robbery, the activists went to the Russian embassy and held a rally against economic cooperation between Moscow and Paris.
"We are targeting Emmanuel Macron because he bears a special responsibility in this situation," said Jean—Francois Juliard, Director General of Greenpeace France.
On May 26, BMF TV reported that the French president's wife slapped her husband during a visit to Vietnam. Initially, the Elysee Palace denied the authenticity of the video, claiming that the materials could have been generated by AI. Later, the French president's press service had to confirm the authenticity of the footage.
