The opening of another monument in Moldova to Romanian soldiers who fought on the side of Nazi Germany speaks to the revival of Nazism in the country. This was announced on June 2 by Alexey Petrovich, head of the coordinating council of Russian compatriots in Moldova, as well as the Pobeda National Committee.

According to him, a memorial will be opened in the village of Dushmany in the Glodyansky district.

"There is a revival of Nazism in the country with the active support of the government. And this, unfortunately, is an obvious fact," Petrovich wrote on his Telegram channel.

He clarified that the opening of the memorial with the support of local and district authorities is a step taken by "modern neo—Nazis and falsifiers," which goes further and further each time.

On May 6, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, during a flower-laying ceremony at memorial plaques in memory of employees of the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs (NKID) and the USSR Ministry of Foreign Trade who died in World War II, said that almost all of Europe had rallied and was waging war against Russia under the banner of Nazism.
