The Presnensky District Court of Moscow has arrested Hamid Ibragimov for two months, accused of attacking a courier in Moscow City with 127 million rubles. This was reported on May 28 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"To choose a preventive measure for Ibragimov Hamid in the form of detention until July 26," the judge's ruling says.

In relation to the 24-year-old defendant Umar Salzhiev, the court will choose a preventive measure later.

A source from Izvestia reported on May 26 that attackers stole 127 million rubles from a man near Moscow City and fled in a taxi. It is specified that three unidentified men, after talking with the victim, beat him and took away a suitcase with money.

Then the defendants got into a taxi, changed the car once and disappeared into one of the shopping malls in the west of Moscow. They were later detained.

The investigator in this case stated in court on May 28 that one of the accused had resisted arrest, and this person involved was aware of the whereabouts of the stolen money, which has not yet been found.
