The Air Defense forces eliminated 296 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia overnight

Overnight, the air defense forces destroyed 296 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Russian regions. This was announced on May 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"296 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and intercepted by air defense systems on duty," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that the drones were neutralized in the skies over the Moscow region, Bryansk, Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kursk, Orel, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver and Tula regions.

The Ministry of Defense clarifies that any terrorist attacks and provocations by Kiev will not go unanswered.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Moscow Region announced the destruction of 42 Ukrainian drones over the region at night. According to him, three residential buildings were damaged in the village of Troitskoye, and there were no casualties.
