Four more villages were at risk of forest fires in Transbaikalia.

In Transbaikalia, firefighters are protecting four more settlements from fire. The villages of Novotroitsk, Domna, Doroninskoye and the village of Bukachacha were under threat.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region, 14 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and three pieces of equipment were involved in protecting Doroninsky. They are assisted by 14 more volunteers. Four units of auxiliary forces have been involved.

13 rescuers, four pieces of equipment, as well as 18 people with four pieces of auxiliary forces equipment were sent to protect the village of Bukachacha.

The situation in Novotroitsk has been stabilized. The threat of fire spreading to the village has been eliminated. The burning of dry vegetation in the vicinity of the village of Domna is also under control. Gorenje

The fire threat was removed for the settlements of Verkh-Usugli and Ilyinka. In Ilyinka, the fire was localized on an area of 10 hectares.

Earlier, on May 23, it was reported that an emergency class of fire danger is predicted in nine districts of the Trans-Baikal Territory. Forecasters warn of increased winds, which will increase the risk of fire spreading over large areas. In connection with what is happening, the Ministry of Emergency Situations urges residents and guests of the region to observe fire safety measures.

Currently, a special fire protection regime and a federal emergency regime in forests continue to operate in Transbaikalia. Administrative and criminal liability is provided for violations of the established requirements.

Since the beginning of the fire season in Transbaikalia, 93 perpetrators of wildfires have been identified, of which 39 are minors. During this time, 6 thousand patrols of the forest were also conducted.
