One person was killed in an accident in the Irkutsk region.

The driver of the Honda Partner lost control and died in an accident. It happened on May 26 on the federal highway R-255 "Siberia" near the village of Malaya Elanka. The incident was reported the next day in the Telegram channel of the Irkutsk State Traffic Inspectorate.

It is specified that the man, born in 1982, drove off the roadway, followed by overturning of the vehicle.

"As a result of a traffic accident, a man died on the spot from his injuries before the arrival of an ambulance team," the State Traffic Inspectorate said.

At the moment, the police are investigating all the circumstances of the accident, after which a legal assessment will be given.

Reckless drivers will not be allowed to drive until the damage to the victims of accidents is compensated.

Earlier, on May 26, an elderly driver was killed in the Trans-Baikal Territory as a result of an SUV overturning. It was previously established that the 68-year-old driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser lost control, the car flew off the roadway and overturned.
