A State Duma deputy announced changes in the work of Russian pharmacies.
Starting from June 1, pharmacies in Russia will officially become part of the healthcare system, and pharmacists will receive benefits and preferences that are due to employees in this field. This was announced on May 27 by Yulia Drozhzhina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.
"This decision opens up opportunities for pharmacy employees: firstly, it increases the prestige of the profession, and secondly, it provides benefits and preferences to healthcare workers," an employee of the department told RIA Novosti.
Yulia Drozhzhina clarified that the provision of benefits may vary depending on the regional support measures introduced.
Despite the innovation, this innovation will not fundamentally change anything for citizens. According to the parliamentarian, the prices of vital and essential medicines will not increase.
Earlier, on May 24, pharmacologist Andrey Kondrakhin spoke about the positive effect of using AI in medicine. New technologies make it possible to reduce the number of medical errors and speed up the routine part of the work of specialists.
