"In the village of Meget, 990 "squares" were engulfed in fire in an open warehouse and in a workshop for processing rubber products. 29 specialists and nine pieces of equipment of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the site," the department's Telegram channel says.
In addition, a fire broke out in a boiler room in Bratsk, as well as in carpentry and woodworking shops and a finished goods warehouse. The fire area was 900 sq. m.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, no one was injured in the incident in Bratsk. More than 40 specialists and 13 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.
On the same day, a fire broke out in a shopping center in the Stavropol Territory. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. 32 specialists and 12 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The fire was localized to an area of 1.2 thousand square meters. m.
