The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) has not received notifications from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) about the non-admission of the Russian national ice hockey team to the 2026 Olympics. This was announced on May 25 by the press service of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (RIHF).
According to the RIHF, the International Olympic Committee has not made any new recommendations.
It is specified that this issue will be resolved later.
On May 25, the president of the International Ice Hockey Federation, Luc Tardif, announced that the Russian national team would not be allowed to participate in the Olympic tournament.
