The international judo tournament among police and army took place in Moscow

On May 24, Moscow hosted the 19th International Judo Tournament among the Police and army, dedicated to the memory of employees who died in the line of duty.

The competitions were held at the state budgetary institution Megasport Sports Complex, and 17 teams from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries took part in them.

"Over the past time, the tournament has strengthened its authority and has become one of the most significant international sporting events bringing together police officers, military personnel, rescuers, representatives of security and law enforcement agencies from Russia and other countries," said Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation.

On March 13, the first shooting competitions among employees of all departments of the metropolitan police took place in Moscow. The event was organized by specialists from the Russian Practical Shooting Federation, who were particularly creative in creating tests for the participants.
